    Which school produces the most NFL talent?

    Since 2010, the answer is easy. Nick Saban built a football factory at Alabama that has produced more draft picks and more first-round picks than any other school. But there are a few schools coming up on the Crimson Tide. Ohio State had the most NFL Draft picks in 2016, and Michigan had the most picks in 2017. 

    A total of 16 FBS schools have produced at least 30 NFL Draft picks this decade.

  • 1 Iowa

    Draft Picks: 30

    First-round picks: 4

    Notable: Kirk Ferentz continues to churn out NFL talent, and this class featured four key pieces from the Big Ten West champion in 2015 with C.J. Beathard, Desmond King, Jaleel Johnson and George Kittle. 

  • 2 Arkansas

    Draft picks: 30

    First-round picks:

    Notable: The Razorbacks are a productive school when it comes to producing NFL talent, and they added three Day 3 picks in 2017. 

  • 3 Michigan

    Draft picks: 30

    First-round picks:

    Notable: Michigan sent a school record 11 picks to the 2017 NFL Draft, and Jim Harbaugh will bring more of that in the coming years. Expect the Wolverines to move up this list.

  • 4 UCLA

    Draft picks: 31

    First-round picks: 4

    Notable: The Bruins have sent 12 players to the NFL Draft the last two seasons, a sign of the talent recruited by Jim Mora. Takkarist McKinley was a first-round pick by the Atlanta Falcons.

    Draft picks: 33

    First-round picks: 6

    Notable: Solomon Thomas and Christian McCaffrey are the latest first-round NFL picks for the Cardinal, a steady producer under David Shaw.

    Draft picks: 33

    First-round picks: 7

    Notable: Notre Dame had just two draft picks this year, but that inlcuded quarterback DeShone Kizer. Brian Kelly continues to develop next-level talent in South Bend.

    Draft picks: 39

    First-round picks: 5

    Notable: Georgia should have an impressive haul in the 2018 NFL Draft considering star players such as Nick Chubb and Sony Michel opted to stay in school.

  • 8 Miami, Fla.

    Draft picks: 41

    First-round picks: 4

    Notable: First-round pick David Njoku was at the head of a nine-person class for the Hurricanes. This is a trend that should continue under second-year coach Mark Richt.

    First-round picks: 6

    Notable: The Trojans added five more players as part of an impressive class that included first-round pick Adoree' Jackson. Sam Darnold could be No. 1 pick next year, too.

    Draft picks: 43

    First-round picks: 5

    Notable: The Sooner sent four more players to the NFL Draft in 2017, including running backs Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine along with wide receiver Dede Westbrook and linebacker Jordan Evans.

    Draft picks: 44

    First-round picks: 7

    Notable: That's 15 players in two years for the Tigers under Dabo Swinney. The defending national champions had two top-12 picks in Deshaun Watson and Mike Williams.

    First-round picks: 9

    Notable: The Seminoles returned most of their talent for next season, a reason expectations are high under Jimbo Fisher. Dalvin Cook and DeMarcus Walker were second-round picks in this year's class.

  • 13 Ohio State

    Draft picks: 46

    First-round picks: 11

    Notable: Ohio State keeps producing under Urban Meyer, and that came this year with three first-round picks in Marshon Lattimore, Malik Hooker and Gareon Conley. Next year's class could be even bigger.

  • 14 LSU

    Draft picks: 50

    First-round picks: 9

    Notable: The Tigers had another strong showing with eight picks, including first-rounders in Leonard Fournette, Jamal Adams and Tre'Davious White. Will the pipeline continue under new coach Ed Orgeron?

  • 15 Florida

    Draft picks: 50

    First-round picks: 11

    Notable: Florida has put 15 players in the NFL Draft over the last two seasons, and that should continue under third-year coach Jim McElwain. Jarrad Davis was the first-round pick in this year's eight-man class.

    First-round picks: 21

    Notable: The beat goes on under Nick Saban. Alabama had 10 NFL Draft picks, and the most first-round picks with four. That group included Jonathan Allen, O.J. Howard, Marlon Humphrey and Reuben Foster. Look at who is No. 1 heading into 2017 ...
