Confirmed Rangers XI vs Nice as Cyriel Dessers DROPPED for Europa League clash
Rangers manager Philippe Clement has laid down a marker with his line-up for their Europa League match, with a key attacking alteration made.
James Tavernier has been dropped in recent weeks as the boss tries to shake up his side, but nothing has stuck so far with a disappointing draw at home to Dundee United at the weekend yet another sign of their poor. The full-back remains on the bench, with Dujon Sterlin getting the nod once again. However, Clement has now consigned much-maligned striker Cyriel Dessers to the bench for the all-important tie; Dessers is often criticised for his profligacy but does manage to pop up with goal when needed, scoring their equaliser against Olympiacos last time out on the continent.
The Gers are in the French Riviera to face Nice, in what will be a tricky test for the beleaguered Ibrox side. Many fans have thrown in the towel on Clement's reign and a desperate for a chance in the dugout but the Belgian remains situ for the time being and has a chance to potentially win back some support, should they pick up all three points this evening.

He is replaced by Hamza Igamane in the starting XI, the Moroccan youth international was signed in the summer and scored again FCSB earlier in the competition. Igmane for Dessers is indeed the only swap from their draw with Jim Goodwin's side on Saturday.
