Destiny Udogie who was a doubt for the game has not travel and will not be involved fpor the first time this season.
Another player who was a doubt but has still made it to the team was Pape Matar Sarr who had been struggling but has made it into the team even though Ange Postecoglou hinted he would start in his team news.
The greatest credit he’s had is how he’s made everyone in-front of him comfortable.
The Tottenham manager said ahead of the game: “He is OK. He was not 100 per cent well going into the game, he had an illness the last couple of days.
“But he was keen to give everything to start and I had a feeling he would last 60 or 70 minutes. It is a short turnaround to Friday but I am pretty confident he will be OK.
On Udogie, Postecoglou said: “He felt a bit of tightness.
“Again, when we got the second goal with the short turnaround, we thought it was wise to take him off. Again, I do not think it is anything significant.”
He wasn’t well against Fulham but he’s passed fit should be ready to go.
Spurs have exceeded expectation this season and Postecoglou will now hope that his team continue get all three points.
Back to enjoying his game again and spoke glowingly about the team’s success.
Special player with a special motor.
With the Chelsea game in mind, it will be interesting to see if he starts at Selhurst.
Really loves a good fight.
The heart of what has become an unbeatable team.
An exemplary captain on and off the filed
Got an assist from Fulham but he’ll want to be amongst the goals at Selhurst.
The creative force that makes everything sticks.
