Connor Barron Rangers transfer set for SPFL tribunal as Aberdeen await date
Rangers and Aberdeen are now waiting on a date from the SPFL for their upcoming tribunal regarding Connor Barron's summer transfer switch.
The two clubs have been in discussions about a compensation fee for the player after he joined the Ibrox side on a free after leaving Dons at the end of last season. However at this stage they've been unable to come to an agreement on how much the midfielder's fee will be.
The Daily Record are reporting that the SPFL are now in the process of setting up a tribunal and will let both clubs know the date when it has been organised.

Aberdeen are due compo as Barron came through their youth ranks before leaving for the Light Blues at 21. Had Barron moved outside of Scottish football it would have been worth £500,000 to the club but the rules in Scotland differ from elsewhere and now the governing body will decide on the amount after a mutual agreement could not be struck.
Barron has already featured seven times for Rangers under manager Philippe Clement and was called into the Scotland squad for the first time.
