Conor McGregor appears in court to face charges following UFC 223 incident

Conor McGregor appeared at Brooklyn Criminal Court on Thursday following the chaotic incident in April involving rival UFC fighters at UFC 223.

The hearing was very brief as McGregor and Cowley’s team informed the court they plan to negotiate a plea. His next hearing has been set for July 26^th 2018. Following the hearing Conor Mcgregor released a statement to the press.

Conor said: “I regret my actions that led to today I understand the seriousness of this matter and I’m hopeful this will get worked out”
