Costa del Sol fire: 'One dead and ten injured' as huge blaze rips through hotel
A person has died and at least 10 people have been injured after a fire broke out at a Spanish hotel, local media reported.
Video shared online shows guests scaling the walls and jumping from their balconies at Sisu Marbella hotel in Costa del Sol after a blaze started at around 6.15am on Friday.
Located four miles out of Marbella, the four-star facility, popular with Towie cast members, was the subject of an arsonist attack in 2007 after a hand grenade was thrown into the venue.
Marbella Security councillor José Eduardo Diíaz, told Sur the hotel had been open for three weeks with 100 people staying at the property at the time of the incident.

"It was a miracle because the exterior latticework of the hotel, made of wood, has allowed customers to go down the facade by their own means," he said.
Spanish authorities confirmed surrounding buildings were evacuated while firefighters tackled the blaze.
