Thibaut Courtois has reportedly grown close to his 18-year-old dog-sitter, Delaney Royle, after he split from his long term love Marta Dominguez, reports the Sun.
The pair have bonded over a shared love for Pomeranians, and began talking about the breed of dog on Instagram. Now Delaney regularly travels 60 miles to look after the 24-year-old's pet Pomeranian, named Yoshi.
Courtois messaged Delaney asking where she got her Pomeranian, and immediately shot up to the breeder in Cambridge to get himself one.
Friends close to the Chelsea star have speculated that there may be more than a friendship on the cards with the Instagram stunner, who regularly posts revealing pics on her account to more than 14,000 followers.
Delaney's dad has squashed rumours of a romance brewing, saying that:" T here’s no relationship between her and a Chelsea player. Maybe one day a West Ham player. It’s a West Ham player or nothing, that’s the rules." Maybe Courtois could request a transfer to Chelsea's London rivals?
Delaney's father said that: "We babysit Yoshi when he goes away. Last week he was playing away in the internationals. Delaney got the dog and brought it back because we have a Pomeranian and they’re brother and sister. She rarely sees Courtois."
