The Bembridge Harbour Family Fun Weekend 2022 saw families compete in games and challenges including paper boat building, egg and spoon races and crabbing.

Over 20 paper boats were built and raced over the weekend, including one with a sail made entirely out of feathers.

Meanwhile Bembridge beach hosted competitions for all ages, including sack races, wheelbarrow races, sandcastle competitions and an egg and spoon race.

As well as 16 sandcastles, there were seven sand sculptures, including mermaids, a village and a circus big top reflecting the weekend’s theme of the Greatest Showman.
