Manchester United's 1-0 win over Rostov at Old Trafford was far from the most entertaining game ever seen in the Europa League, but one moment stood out for fans at the ground and watching at home.
With less than 20 minutes remaining, manager Jose Mourinho handed a banana to Ashley Young to pass to Marcos Rojo - who ate it on the pitch.
The unusual eating habits of the Argentine defender got Twitter very excited, with one fan praising Rojo's laddishness!

Thought seeing Phil Jones taking corners was the craziest thing I'd ever seen in my life until Marcos Rojo ate a banana during the game

Marcos Rojo requesting a banana midway through tonight's game has been the highlight of the match. Superb communication and execution.

LVG would have passed the banana to Zlatan instruct him to pass it on to Herrera who would throw it back to Smalling to pass it back to Rojo

Marcos Rojo has been handed a banana to eat. Phil Jones has seen this and asked the bench if he can have a Curly Wurly and a comic.

Credit to Phil Jones for actually passing the banana on to Rojo - must have been difficult for him pic.twitter.com/6Kdu9acQ2e
