After losing their previous three matches, Kolkata limited their visitors to just 149 and reached their target with 10 balls to spare.

Jacques Kallis was a doubt before the match for Kolkata but he chipped in with two key wickets and only conceded 14 runs during four very profitable overs.

Manan Vohra top scored for Punjab with 31.

Manvinder Bisla was the key man for Kolkata with the bat as his unbeaten 51 helped guide his team to victory with useful knocks from Kallis (37) and Eoin Morgan (42) making sure the result was never really in doubt.
