Stokes was pulled from the attack by the standing umpires while on duty for the England Lions in their three-match 50-over series.
The 22-year-old, presently part of England's senior side for the NatWest series against Australia, was on Thursday handed his fixed penalty - a reprimand that will remain on his record for two years - by the ECB's cricket discipline commission.
Hampshire wicketkeeper Adam Wheater was handed three penalty points after being found guilty of two Level One breach of the ECB Code of Conduct.
Wheater was reported following the County Championship match against Lancashire last month for "showing dissent at an umpire's decision by word or action and using language that is obscene, offensive or insulting and/or making an obscene gesture".
Players receive an automatic suspension should they accrue nine or more penalty points during a two-year period.
