Cricket World Cup 2019 schedule: Full fixtures and results
The 2019 Cricket World Cup takes place in England and Wales this summer, with the ten finest one-day sides on the planet battling it out to be crowned champions.
This will be the fifth time that the competition has been held on these shores, but the host nation are still looking for their first ever World Cup win.
Australia are the most successful side in the competition’s history, having won it five times, and arrive as defending champions, after winning it on home soil in 2015.
The mammoth tournament will last for just shy of seven weeks, starting with a 45-game group stage, and culminating in the final at the home of cricket, Lord's, on Sunday, 14 July.
In all, 11 different grounds will be used, from Taunton’s County Ground in the south west, to The Riverside, Durham in the north.
