Cristiano Ronaldo unveiled as Juventus player after £99m transfer

Juventus's record signing Cristiano Ronaldo completed his move from Real Madrid and remains keen to help his new club win their first Champions League title in over two decades.

Ronaldo, who joined the Turin-based club from Real Madrid on a four-year contract for £99m, said he did not want to stay in his comfort zone after winning three consecutive Champions League titles with the Spanish club.

The 33-year-old Portugal forward left Los Blancos as their all-time top scorer with 451 goals in all competitions and won two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies over nine years.

The signing of the five-times world player of the year and top scorer in the Champions League for the last six seasons represents a major coup for Juve, who have lifted the league title for the last seven seasons but have not won Europe's top prize since 1996.
