Goals from Olivier Giroud, Christian Pulisic and Tammy Abraham earned Chelsea a 3-2 win at Crystal Palace to boost Frank Lampard's Champions League qualification hopes.

Giroud and Pulisic put Chelsea in control of the Selhurst Park derby, though Wilfried Zaha's stunning long-range effort gave Roy Hodgson's Eagles hope before half-time.

Abraham came off the bench to restore Chelsea's two-goal advantage, but Christian Benteke soon added another for Palace to set up a tense finale.

Palace hit the post in the final seconds, but Chelsea held on for a result which - for now at least - sends them third in the table before Leicester City's trip to Arsenal tonight.
