Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke moved to the very top of the Premier League goal charts when it comes to headed goals after stopped to nod home in the Eagles' crucial win over Liverpool last weekend.

But not only is Benteke joint top of the standings in terms of headed goals in pure numbers alone, the former Aston Villa and Liverpool striker has also relied on his head more than than the rest of the Premier League's top scorers.
Joint 9th on the overall top scorer list with 14 total goals, Benteke has seen 43% of his tally come from headers. Lukaku and Alli, on the other hand, have only scored a quarter of their totals with headed attempts, while Ibrahimovic has scored 24% of his 17 from headers.
Headed goals have actually been relatively rare among the rest of the Premier League's hottest forwards this season. Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa have only scored four between them, with Harry Kane surprisingly netting only once with his head - just 5% of his goals.
Short in stature, Eden Hazard and Jermain Defoe, who have 29 Premier League goals combined this season, haven't scored a single header between them.
