Crystal Palace are interested in signing Burnley winger Dwight McNeil after being priced out of a move for him last summer.

The Eagles enquired about McNeil back then, but they were quoted an asking price of £30million and did not pursue a move for him.

Palace have continued to track the 22-year-old and there is a belief he could be available for half of what he was last summer.

McNeil has plenty of other admirers, though, with Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham all scouting him over the course of the past few seasons.

Burnley are thought to be ready to cash in on the winger after they suffered relegation to the Championship last season.

McNeil is also keen on a return to the Premier League and is waiting to see what offers are on the table for him this summer.

The winger currently has two years to run on his contract at Turf Moor and now would be the opportune moment for Burnley to sell him.

West Ham have shown an interest in McNeil and he could become more of a priority if a move for Jesse Lingard fails. The Hammers want to sign the England international but face competition from Nottingham Forest.
