Crystal Palace vs Burnley: Prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV, head to head, odds - Premier League preview

Rewind four months and the Premier League prospects for Crystal Palace and Burnley were very different.

The Clarets were rolling into 2017 sitting in 11th place having just knocked four past Sunderland to secure back-to-back wins while 17th-placed Palace were just about to extend their winless run to five games.

Now, heading into the final month of the season, Palace have steered clear of relegation and now eyeing an unlikely top-half finish while Burnley, still with just four points and no wins accrued away from home, are flirting with a late battle against the drop.

Another win for Palace on Saturday will see them hit 41 points and complete a remarkable April for the Eagles, while a defeat for the visitors could see Hull City draw level with them with three points of their own.

TEAM NEWS

Sam Allardyce will have to rejig his defence once again for Saturday's clash after Mamadou Sakho (knee) was taken off on a stretcher against Tottenham, though scans show the damage is worse than first feared.

Fellow centre-backs James Tomkins (leg) and Scott Dann (knee) are also sidelined, so Allardyce is likely to select Martin Kelly and Damien Delaney at the heart of his defence.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Speroni, Ward, Kelly, Schlupp, Van Aanholt, Delaney, Fryers, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Flamini, McArthur, Zaha, Puncheon, Townsend, Benteke, Campbell, Chung-Yong, Ledley, Sako.

Joey Barton will come out of Burnley's starting line-up for the trip to Selhurst Park.

The midfielder has been banned for 18 months by the Football Association for breaching betting regulations.

Sam Vokes (hamstring) and Scott Arfield (knee) could both come back into Sean Dyche's squad, yet Ben Mee (shin) and Stephen Ward (knee) are doubts too, while Dean Marney (knee) is definitely out.

Provisional squad: Heaton, Robinson, Pope, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Long, Ward, Darikwa, Tarkowski, Barton, Flanagan, Defour, Boyd, Hendrick, Westwood, Arfield, Gudmundsson, Vokes, Gray, Agyei, Barnes.
