Crystal Palace vs Chelsea FC: Kick off time, prediction, TV, live stream, team news, h2h - preview today

Chelsea will travel to Crystal Palace later today in Graham Potter’s first Premier League game in charge of the club.

The short trip to Selhurst Park will end Potter’s long wait for a domestic outing in charge of the side he took over earlier this month.

As it stands, the former Brighton manager’s side sit seventh in the table and a win feels particularly important, as obvious as that is to say. Having worked with at least some of the squad since the 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg a number of weeks ago, signs of obvious progress would not be too much to ask for.

Palace, meanwhile, have won only once in seven games thus far, albeit having put in some impressive performances at times. Still, Patrick Vieira has an awful lot of goodwill in the tank and Selhurst Park has proven a difficult place to go for the Premier League’s leading sides.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The Premier League game is scheduled for a 3pm BST kick-off time in Saturday October 1, 2022.

Selhurst Park in London will host.

Where to watch Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

With the game kicking off during the blackout imposed across English football, it will not be broadcast live in the UK.

Highlights, however, will be shown when Match of the Day airs at 10.30pm on Saturday.
