Crystal Palace host Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Roy Hodgson’s side look to be on their summer holidays already, after five straight defeats with minimal fuss.

They have dropped to 14th, the bottom of the middle group of teams, and what looked like a promising season has turned into one which needs to be over and done with quickly.

There’s much more at stake for United, who are level on points with fourth-place Leicester but below them on goal difference—and the sides now know fifth won’t be good enough for the Champions League.

Here’s all you need to know about the game.

When is it and what time is kick-off?

The match will begin at 8:15pm on Thursday 16 July at Selhurst Park.

How can I watch it online and on TV?

The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 1 Extra. Coverage starts at 7:30pm.

What is the team news?

Palace are without the suspended Christian Benteke, as well as injured defensive trio Martin Kelly, Gary Cahill and James Tomkins. Jeffrey Schlupp is also out.

United will probably be without Luke Shaw, who went off injured on Monday night, while his replacement Brandon Williams then suffered a head injury. Phil Jones is also out and Mason Greenwood is a doubt after a bad tackle against Southampton.

Confirmed line-ups

Palace: Guaita, Van Aanholt, Sakho, Dann, Ward, McArthur, Milivojevic, McCarthy, Townsend, Zaha, Ayew

United: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Maguire, Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Pogba, Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood, Martial

What are the odds?

Palace – 21/2

Draw – 9/2

United – 4/1

Prediction

After dropping two points late on against Saints, the pressure is on United to keep finding wins if they want a top-four finish. Fortunately, Palace have been nothing short of abject recently and there’s no reason to think that will change.
