Crystal Palace vs Manchester United, Premier League preview: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, h2h, team news

Manchester United head to Crystal Palace as the race for a top four finish begins to draw to a frantic conclusion.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side missed the chance to move into third on Monday night after a 2-2 draw with Southampton at Old Trafford.

That result meant they stayed in fifth place and by the time they kick-off on Thursday, Chelsea and Leicester may have moved four and three points clear again respectively.

While that result against Saints was there only real slip-up since the season restart, United cannot afford to drop more points in south east London.

Date, time and venue

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United is scheduled for a 8:15pm BST kick-off on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

The match will be behind closed doors at Selhurst Park with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

Team news

Palace will be without Christian Benteke after his red card against Aston Villa which could see Jordan Ayew return to a more central role.

Martin Kelly made the bench at Villa Park and could be in line for a full return after injury.

United lost both Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams to injury late on against Southampton with Solskjaer waiting on updates over the left-back pair.

Dan James, Scott McTominay and Fred will be opting for starting roles if the United boss decides to freshen things up.
