Odsonne Edouard makes his first Crystal Palace start against Brighton tonight.

Christian Benteke makes way for the £14million summer signing, who impressed with a brace off the bench against Tottenham earlier this month.

Palace captain Luka Milivojevic also makes his first start of the season in the derby, with Cheikhou Kouyate dropping to the bench.

Brighton, meanwhile, are missing key midfielder Yves Bissouma.

Parick Vieira’s Palace were beaten by Liverpool last time out after securing their first win in the Premier League under their new manager against Tottenham in their previous home game.

Brighton have begun the season superbly under Graham Potter and could go top of the Premier League with an away victory.

Vieira hailed his opposite number ahead of the game, suggesting that he is looking to translate Potter’s magic after taking his first managerial role in the Premier League.

“What is really positive is that Graham took over a club with a manager who was successful but playing in a different way,” Vieira explained.

“He managed to keep that success with his philosophy in place and how he wants to play the game. I think this is a good example for me of what I want to do in this football club.
