Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant takes batting practice into Chicago River

The Cubs are having a lot of fun in their return to Chicago after their World Series win.

On Tuesday, third baseman Kris Bryant got in a few swingsin a rather unusual location — on the edge of the Chicago River.

Red Bull, one of Bryant's sponsors, set up the event in a park onWolf Point West, right on the edge of the Chicago River. It looked like McCovey Cove out there, with several kayakers chasing Bryant's fly balls.

The Cubs have the day off before hosting the Dodgers on Wednesday night —I don't think Joe Maddonwould've allowed Bryant to pull this off on any other day.
