Germany topped the medal table after the final day of the European Elite Track Championship in Lithuania.

Germany's triumph in keirin

Lucas Liss won the men's omnium with Russian Artur Ershov taking silver and Lithuanian Gediminas Bagdonas bronze.

Liss's countryman Tobias Wachter triumphed in the men's keirin ahead of another German in Joachim Eilers.

The women's keirin was won by home rider Simona Krupeckaite, with Russians Ekaterina Gnidenko and Elena Brezhniva taking silver and bronze.

In the women's omnium Tatsiana Sharakova of Belarus celebrated gold with Lithuanian Ausrine Trebaite and Poland's Katarzyna Pawlowska also medalling.

Czech riders Martin Blaha and Jiri Hochmann won the madison.

Germany secured overall victory in the medals table with four golds, three silvers and a bronze while Lithuania were second with three gold, a silver and two bronzes.
