D.C. rapper raising $20 million to bring Kevin Durant to Wizards, has $6

Paperboy Prince of the Suburbs has high goals.

Kevin Durant is testing the free agency waters this offseason, and there's a lot of hype for him returning to his hometown of Washington, D.C.

In an attempt to attract the Thunder star, rapper Paperboy Prince of the Suburbs has created a GoFundMe account to haul in $20 million. The campaign was set up Wednesday and as of early morning Thursday there's been one donation of $6.

The rapper with the extravagant Instagram account isn't fretting about the low funds.

“I’m not discouraged because Rome wasn’t built in a day,” Paper told the Washington Post. “All we need is one million people with $20 or two million people with $10."

In his efforts to reach the one-to-two million people, Paper released a song titled "KD2DC."

Paper is a big-time Wizards fan, as evidenced by photos on his Instagram, so it would mean the world to him if he could attract Durant with $20 million. The amount seems like a lofty goal, but he seems optimistic about it happening. So what will he do once he reaches the goal?

"Once we reach our goal we will either donate the 20 million to the Wizards to get the Durantula," he wrote on the GoFundMe page, "or we will donate it to Kevin Durant's favorite charity since he loves our community so much!"
