The NBA season’s last week is here, and for those of riding it out, daily fantasy basketball doesn’t end! I must say, at this point, those that are still grinding have some serious commitment. I hope you all have reduced your playing volume and are using the advice I’ve been giving to finish out safely. I know we want to hit one more big tournament, but practice self-control when building those mass multi-lineups! Good luck tonight!
RotoQL is here to help you navigate these tough times. We have the DFS tools you need to take down some contests, including ourRotoQL NBA lineup optimizer, which has critical for finding the best lineup once late value opens up. Give RotoQL a try before the NBA season ends!

Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup core plays
Point Guard: Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder (DraftKings: $12,700, FanDuel: $13,600)
It’s hard not to have exposure to the guy we know is chasing statistical history. When you get a triple-double, that translates into a lot of fantasy points. With so much up in the air late in an NBA season, Westbrook’s opportunity and minutes are about as locked in as it gets for any of the stars. Plus, if he does break the record tonight, you'll want to say you rostered him.
Shooting Guard: Gary Harris, Denver Nuggets (DraftKings: $5,600, FanDuel: $6,100)
I expect this to be the highest scoring game of the night, so I’m doing whatever I can to work players from this game into my lineup. Denver needs to win, so although they’re playing the second half of a back-to-back, I expect their young team will play full minutes. Harris has been on the court all of the time lately, and his minutes translate to legit fantasy numbers. He’ll also see a fair share of James Harden's defense, which always helps with extra opportunity.
Small Forward: LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers (DraftKings: $10,200, FanDuel: $10,700)
It’s a little worrisome that LeBron played 37 minutes last nightin a game where he probably didn’t need to. But this is a matchup against Boston for first place in the East, so I’m expecting the King to bring his all. Go look at the game log from this year --LeBron has owned Boston. Nowwe’re giving this man extra incentiveas he enters the final preparation for the playoffs. Watch out.
Power Forward: Larry Nance Jr, Los Angeles Lakers (DraftKings: $4,800, FanDuel: $4,100)
To make this core work, you are going to need some value plays. At what I view as a weak position, I would suggest finding the best value you can at PF to strengthen your lineup at stronger spots. Right now, Nance jumps as that value play. He’s been seeing a good amount of minutes, and once the Spurs get a lead, he should see some additional time against the second unit.
Center: Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets (DraftKings: $9,400, FanDuel: $10,000)
The Nuggets'star in the game in which I want the most exposure? Yeah, I’ll take it. As always with Jokic, if he stays out of foul trouble, he’s going to return great fantasy points per minute. Jokic dominated the last time the two teams faced off, and should be able to once again exploit the Rockets 25th-ranked defense against the position. As I said earlier, the Nuggets need to win as they sit just outside the playoffs in the West. It’s all about finding teams with legitimate motivation to give it their all, and I think the Nuggets will be force to all-in tonight.
