After an unadventurous and somewhat limited initial rollout to begin its partnership with the NHL, Adidas is now starting to flex.
The Dallas Stars unveiled a vivid new third look — with a tweaked logo — for the upcoming season in collaboration with the NHL’s uniform outfitter on Wednesday morning.
And it’s nothing if not bright.

For Adidas and the NHL, the Stars’ thirds might be even bolder than the glittering-gold alternates that the Vegas Golden Knights released earlier this offseason.
While the colours are unquestionably unique, the best part of the re-design — if not for the maximum tint on the visors — might be the upgrade to Dallas’s rather featureless logo. The outline of the State of Texas seems to add an important dimension and fills up the front of the jersey.
