Dana White Confirms Miesha Tate's New Job Post-Retirement

Following her loss to Raquel Pennington at UFC 205, Miesha Tate abruptly announced her retirement, but she's not going to be out of sight out of mind, as she won't be out of site at all.

UFC president Dana White, in a recent interview with The Fight Network in Canada, confirmed that Tate would be taking a role as an analyst for Fox Sports, the UFC's television partner in America.

Tate, during a promotional stint in Melbourne following her retirement, revealed that she was angling for a job at Fox.

“I’ve just transitioned to more of promoting events and I still want to be involved. Actually, you may see more of me now,” she said during a media scrum at UFC Fight Night 101.

“I’m really happy right now. I’m enjoying life and seeing the world,” Tate said, before addressing whether or not she had been in discussions with Fox.

“It looks like something will come to fruition with Fox at some point. So I’ll just kind of see how that all unfolds.”

It appears that things have unfolded in favor of Tate landing the job with Fox, so, although she may have “transitioned,” she's not leaving the fight scene.
