Dana White Explains Woodley vs. Thompson Confusion and Possible Rematch
So what was with all the confusion following Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson at UFC 205?
Bruce Buffer entered the Octagon and then walked out before announcing the result. He returned to announce a split-decision win for Woodley. Minutes later, Buffer was back in the Octagon to revise the result, calling it a majority draw.
With all the confusion, it's no surprise that Woodley was visibly frustrated during his post-fight interview.

But it was all in an effort to get things right. At least that's what UFC president Dana White tried to explain at the UFC 205 post-fight press conference, where he also addressed the likelihood of a possible rematch between Woodley and Thompson.
