Dana White On Ronda Rousey's Abrupt Exit at UFC 205 Weigh-Ins (video)

UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor was the mixed martial arts juggernaut's first event in New York since the state legalized the sport earlier this year. By all accounts and measures, it was a monster success.

While the UFC pulled out all the stops to make sure its first event at Madison Square Garden was a blockbuster, company officials also realized the opporunity to piggyback off of the event's popularity to make sure the promotion closes out the year on a high note.

There were more than 15,000 fans at Friday's ceremonial weigh-in at The Garden. The UFC used that captured audience, and the thousands more watching on Fox Sports 1 and online to unleash a promotional video for the Dec. 30 fight between the returning Ronda Rousey and bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes. They headline UFC 207 in Las Vegas.

Not only did the promotion use a video to promote the fight, they also brough Rousey and Nunes to the weigh-in stage for a face-off.

Following the face-off, however, Nunes hung around to do a brief interview, but Rousey, despite UFC president Dana White trying to get her to remain on stage, shrugged her arm out of his grasp and strode off the stage without saying aword.

White, at the UFC 205 post-fight press conference, tried to explain what happened during the incident, and why Rousey didn't hang around for an interview.
