Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has hinted he will change a winning team with one eye on a busy week for his side as the now league leaders try to cement their place at the top of the table. Farke sprang a surprise at the weekend with his team selection in recalling Daniel James, but for Wilfried Gnonto rather than Manor Solomon as expected.

Fresh from their dramatic 4-3 victory at Swansea City on Sunday afternoon which saw both Solomon and Gnonto in the goals, Leeds return to action when hosting Luton Town at Elland Road on Wednesday evening and another tweak or two could be on the cards.

The Whites are still without Junior Firpo as the defender serves the final game of his three-match ban. The squad is likely to be unchanged, with Largie Ramazani potentially ready for a small contribution off the bench.

With a Saturday lunchtime kick-off against Blackburn Rovers to follow Wednesday's game, Farke is eager to not push certain players too much and has suggested changes may be needed.

"There are no new injuries. Like always there were a few knocks after the game, but there are no new injuries and it seems everyone from the last game is available for Wednesday," explained Farke.

"It is a quick turnaround and three games ins ix days, so sometimes you have to rotate more than normally, so there could be a few changes. The good news is no new injuries.

"Largie is back in training each and every single day which is beneficial and he is also an option for a few minutes. It's a good situation"
