Darwin Nunez's Liverpool absence appeared to be leaked by teammate before confirmation
Conor Bradley may have inadvertently leaked Liverpool’s team news against Wolves after his Fantasy Premier League team was found.
Arne Slot’s team head south to take on Wolves in the late Premier League kick-off on Saturday with the Reds looking to extend their promising start to the Dutchman’s tenure. Liverpool head to Molineux two points behind Manchester City after the champion was held to a 1-1 draw away at Newcastle United.
The Reds will be hoping that their formidable front line can continue to fire against the side who have shipped 14 goals in just five games so far – picking up only one point. But Gary O’Neil may have been given some early Liverpool team news.

Bradley’s FPL team was found on the game and shared to X by the ‘FPL Focal’ account, which included some potentially interesting Liverpool team news. After apparently transferring Darwin Nunez into his team just last week before he started and scored against Bournemouth, the 21-year-old looked to have dropped another huge hint on Slot’s proposed line-up.
According to the post, the Liverpool youngster removed Nunez from his FPL team completely with him fielding a front three of Erling Haaland, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Joao Pedro. Bradley has also decided to captain Mohamed Salah for Liverpool’s trip to Wolves, the only Liverpool player in his team.
It’s since been confirmed that Nunez is set to miss the Wolves trip due to illness. If Bradley’s team is to be believed, then Slot may be able to refer to his so-far favorite front three of Salah, Luis Diaz and a return to the starting line-up from Diogo Jota. The Portuguese was dropped from Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth last time out in the league, in place of Nunez.
Nunez scored Liverpool’s third goal against the Cherries with a brilliant whipped effort and kept his place for the Carabao Cup victory against West Ham where he lined up alongside Jota. Despite Liverpool notching five and Nunez playing the full 90 minutes, the Uruguayan didn’t get on the scoresheet, as Jota scored a brace.
Slot opted to bring Jota back into the starting line-up following his goalscoring exploits in midweek ahead of the trip to Wolves. The frontline has been the subject of debate ahead of the trip to Wolves following the changes that Slot made in midweek.
Cody Gakpo and Federico Chiesa made their first starts under the Dutchman in the victory over West Ham and both made a positive impression on Slot, with Gakpo scoring a brace and the Italian setting up Jota’s first goal with an acrobatic effort. However, pulled both out of the starting line-up to return to his most used forward line so far this campaign.
