David Bingham replaces Brad Guzan on USA roster

The Middlesbrough keeper will not report to camp and instead join his wife for the birth of their second child.

U.S. Soccer has announced thatgoalkeeper David Bingham has been added to the U.S. men's national team roster for its upcoming Hexagonal matches.

The San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper replaces Brad Guzan, who will missthe two games.The Middlesbrough goalkeeperand his wife are expecting the birth of their second child in the coming days.

With Guzan's departure, Tim Howard will almost certainly start for the U.S. in its crucial World Cup qualifiers against Honduras on March 24 and Panama on March 28.

Bingham has three caps for the U.S. and last appeared in the team's 1-0 friendly win against Jamaica on Feb. 3.
