David Moyes may be well ahead of Jose Mourinho when it comes to Manager of the Year awards, but the West Ham boss would swap them all in a heartbeat for a trophy.

The two meet in Sunday's London derby with Mourinho's Spurs in ninth and six points off Moyes's West Ham side, who go into the weekend level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.

Sunday will see the two former Manchester United managers meet for the 16th time, and Moyes is still on the hunt for his first win over the Portuguese. However, where he does have the edge is when it comes to Manager of the Year Awards.

Only Sir Alex Ferguson has more than Moyes's three, which could well become four should the Hammers continue their current form. Despite all his titles and trophies, Mourinho has none - not that Moyes thinks the Spurs boss would mind.

“I don’t think Jose would have bothered about the Manager of the Year," said Moyes. "I think Jose would have been more bothered with winning the League titles and winning the cups.

“I think most managers are more interested in the team awards than we are on the individual awards and, as I said, Jose’s got a cabinet full of them and I’d like to get a cabinet in the first place and see what I can do after that.

“I would swap my Manager of the Year awards for Jose Mourinho’s medals if that was possible because I don’t want to have individual awards for myself, I want to have club awards and I want to have team awards. To have a CV like Jose with the trophies on it was remarkable.

“I’m very proud of my Manager of the Year awards that came at different times. But I would really have loved to get one Of Jose’s Premier League managers, that’s for sure.”
