Tony Palladino has penned a new three-year contract at Derbyshire.
Palladino took 56 wickets as Derbyshire claimed the LV= County Championship Division Two title last season. The 29-year-old, who recorded three five-wicket hauls during the 2012 campaign, was delighted to secure his long-term future at the county.
"This is fantastic news for me," said Palladino, who signed from Essex in 2011. "To be able to commit the next three years to Derbyshire during the prime of my career is exactly what I wanted to do."
He added: "The last couple of weeks have been fantastic. Winning the league and gaining promotion with this group of players was phenomenal. To now be able to sign a new contract is the icing on the cake."
Derbyshire head coach Karl Krikken added: "Tony has been incredible for us and securing his services for the next three seasons is a huge boost for the squad as we prepare for Division One cricket next season."
