How Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka celebrated with Conor McGregor after Arsenal Champions League win
Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice enjoying a kickabout with former UFC two-weight champion, Conor McGregor, following their 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain. Kai Havertz and the England international were on target for Mikel Arteta's side as they picked up their first Champions League win of the season.
The Gunners navigated the test against France's premier club with relative ease as the Ligue 1 giants were reduced to very little - including a long-range effort that hit the post midway through the first-half.
David Raya kept a second successive clean sheet in Europe in the process, as Arsenal continued their winning run.
They will be hoping to maintain the sequence and keep with the pacesetters Liverpool and Manchester City when they welcome strugglers Southampton on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The visit of Russell Martin's side is the final time that Arsenal will feature in the Premier League until they reconvene after the October international ahead of the trip to the south coast to face Bournemouth on October 19.
As expected, spirits were high after the match and the two England internationals didn't wish to pass up an opportunity with the MMA star, McGregor. The 36-year-old, who has not stepped foot in the Octagon for three years, posted a series of snaps on social media including one of his Rolls Royce parked outside a London hotel.

After the 2-0 win for Arsenal, videos on social media emerged of both Saka and Rice enjoying a kick around with the 'Notorious' on the hallowed Emirates Stadium turf. Sam Morgan, a private luxury concierge, posed for his Instagram with Rice, Saka and the UFC icon in a series with behind-the-scenes insight.
Meanwhile, on his own Instagram, Rice said: "big win & a pleasure to meet you," to the megastar. Speaking after the win, Arteta said: "I think as well everyone has to play a lot of different and difficult games home and away, we have to adapt to that.
"We still don’t know how many points we need, the only thing you can focus on is the performance and try to win our own games, we did it tonight. Carry on doing it and now focus on the Premier League.
"I don’t know, we all want to be at the very top to play less games and to have the capacity to have better draws. It’s going to be a long journey I think."
