Declan Rice has rejected two contract offers at West Ham as the club look to fend off interest in the England star.

The midfielder, who shone in Tuesday’s historic win over Germany, wishes to be kept informed of any bids made this summer.

West Ham insist that their star player, who captained the side for the majority of last season, is going nowhere. Rice has three years remaining on his current deal, while the club have an option for a fourth.

Rice is valued at more than £100million by West Ham, and manager David Moyes has previously said that it would take “Bank of England and Bank of Scotland money” to sanction a sale.

West Ham are yet to receive any formal offers for Rice.

But Manchester United and Chelsea are known to be interested in the 22-year-old, who also has admirers at Manchester City.

West Ham have been in talks with Rice over extending his contract as they prepare to play in the Europa League next season. A new deal would further increase the midfielder’s value.

It is understood that Rice has made no concerted effort to leave and it is not expected that he will look to force his way out, as England captain Harry Kane has done at Tottenham. However, committing to a new deal with the Hammers could make any future move to a Champions League club more complicated.
