Derby County man makes honest Leeds United admission amid worrying Championship form slump
Defender Kane Wilson regards Derby County's trip to Leeds United as a "a bit of a free hit". The Rams will be looking to turn the form book upside down when they visit Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime, kick-off 12:30pm.
There are 12 places and 15 points separating the two sides in the table. While the Whites are competing in the upper reaches of the Championship and have one of the best home records in the division, County sit in 15th position following a poor run of form.
Paul Warne's side will enter the United clash on the back of just one win from their past nine matches. Back-to-back home defeats to Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday has left the Rams only five points above the drop zone.

But full-back Wilson remains confident that it is only a matter of time before County's results improve. He said: "I'm looking forward to it (Saturday's game). It will be a great opportunity to go and try to get a result.
"Maybe we need it. It's one where we're not expected to get a result by people, so it might be a bit of a free hit. We always go to win, but being the underdogs can help.
"They're up there fighting for promotion. It might be what we need at the moment. We understand we've got a tough run of games. Today was a big one, but we have to pick ourselves up. We can't rest on our laurels."
The Rams will have to make one enforced change, with midfielder Ebou Adams set to serve a one-match suspension after collecting five yellow cards.
