Derby County suffered a cruel blow in their Championship clash with Portsmouth as influential defender Eiran Cashin had to be substituted through injury.

The centre-back was forced off in the 60th minute to be replaced by on-loan Liverpool defender Nat Phillips before walking down the tunnel.

Cashin is arguably in the form of his career at Pride Park and left his mark on this game as he scored the second goal with a terrific header as the Rams went on to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

Kane Wilson had opened the scoring with a fine finish after good work from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.

Cashin then added a second before Adams made it 3-0 to Derby before half-time as the Rams received a standing ovation at the break.
