NBA free agency: Derrick Rose to meet with L.A. Clippers, report says

If the Clippers can get Rose on a value deal, they may have found a fit.

The Knicks (28-47) are eliminated from the playoffs. The Heat (37-38) have been on fire (pun intended) over the last few months, and have turned their season around into what currently would be a playoff berth.

Even though there's a large difference in the win column, Derrick Rose feels like his team isn't comparable to the Heat in terms of talent.

"No, I think we're more talented," Rose said Friday before the two teams play in Miami. "But it shows that basketball is a team sport."

If the talent is there, why aren't the wins?

"Any year in the league it'sabout whoever catches a rhythm. No matter how your season is going, or where you're at in your season, you can always catch a rhythm andthey caught theirs at the right time, winning 12 or 13 games [in a row]. They've been playing great basketball ever since then, sowe never caught that luck this year."

The Knicks certainly have some talent on their roster with superstar Carmelo Anthony and the rising Kristaps Porzingis. But the Heat shouldn't be overlooked with Hassan Whiteside, Dion Waiters and Goran Dragic to name a few.
