Paolo Di Canio wants to bring another striker to Swindon in the January transfer window.

Since arriving at the County Ground in May the Italian has already signed seven forwards - most recently Ipswich loanee Ronan Murray who scored the winner against Southend in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last week. But the Robins boss is still searching for the perfect combination up front, and he revealed he has a number of players in mind.

"I have all the names but we will work on it," he told Press Association Sport.

"(For) two months I have already been talking about a striker with a specific quality and we are going to challenge for him because we need a different striker in the box.

"Southend taught us that with four or five balls in the box inside the goalline, we still don't have that nasty attitude.

"If you think Ronan scored the goal. He had desire to attack the space and he scored the goal between the two giants. It is good in a way but we need it in a striker with a different physical presence, also to attack the space. A player who is 187 (centimetres), has got physical, strong presence and desire, and is nasty."
