Not only did Diego Brandao lose his last fight and test positive for marijuana metabolites in his fight night drug test, he has now added a stint in the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. to his list of troubles.

Brandao was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault, according to a report by the Albuquerque Journal.

Brandao, 28, reportedly argued with a DJ at a local Albuquerque strip club late Thursday. He left for a brief time, returned, but was not allowed back into the club due to his behavior and for allegedly throwing punches at an employee in order to try and force entry. Brandao left, but returned a second time, according to the report, but upon returning again, he was brandishing a gun.

In an altercation with another employee, Brandao allegedly ended up hitting the employee in the face with the butt of the gun.

According to the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brandao was arrested Friday afternoon and booked into the facility later that evening. He remained there as of the time of publication. Brandao's bond was set at $15,000.

Brandao last fought at UFC 195 in January, where he lost via submission to Brian Ortega.

In addition to losing the bout, he also tested positive to marijuana metabolites in his drug test on fight night. Although he is currently under a temporary suspension stemming from the failed drug test, his formal disciplinary hearing is scheduled before the Nevada Athletic Commission on Tuesday.
