'Disrespected!' - Jose Mourinho rages as ex-Chelsea and Spurs boss fined after latest controversy
Former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has hit back at critics after he missed a press conference for Fenerbahce at the weekend. Mourinho was inked in to speak to the media after Fenerbahce's Turkish Super Lig showdown at home to Galatasaray on Saturday.
The charismatic Portuguese, who also managed Manchester United during his Premier League days, didn't attend the press conference after Fenerbahce's 3-1 defeat at the hands of their fiercest rivals, and was subsequently fined.
A few days later and Mourinho was on media duty, once again, as he looked ahead to Fenerbahce's match against Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League this week. This time, Mourinho was in attendance to speak to reporters and was critical of Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk when explaining the reason for not attending the press conference after Saturday's fixture.
"I have never avoided a press conference in my 24-year career," the 61-year-old said to reporters on Wednesday." I have never been afraid of journalists and their questions.
"The coach who plays away goes first. It's normal to be free [waiting], but there are limits!
"I waited 70 minutes and even after that I couldn't go, because his press conference continued. I can't wait 70, 75 or 80 minutes for a press conference.

"It had nothing to do with the result - just with something that is or isn't correct. The same will happen in the next game, I'll go to the flash interview straight after the game, because that's the logic of flash interviews.
"It's not 20 minutes after the game, it's straight after. Then you wait 15 minutes, half-an-hour is normal. 70 minutes? Sorry, but that's disrespectful! If anyone felt disrespected, then it was me."
