A probe has been launched after a dog fell onto a train track during a 'dispute' between a passenger and ScotRail staff member.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, March 17 and is said to have been related to an issue with a ticket.
British Transport Police are investigating the matter, which is said to have resulted in the passenger's dog ending up on the train tracks.
The dog was not injured.
The matter is currently being investigated by British Transport Police (BTP).
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesperson said: "At just before 5.30pm on March 17 we received a report of a ticket dispute between a passenger and a member of rail staff at Camelon station, resulting in the passenger’s dog on the tracks.
"The dog was safely pulled off the tracks and thankfully it did not sustain any injuries.
"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
