Dominick Cruz Predicts Johny Hendricks Will ‘Outwrestle’ Stephen Thompson
Two-time UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz’ second job is as a fight analyst position at FOX Sports. He not only gets paid to fight, he earns added income breaking down match-ups.
The newly crowned champ that never actually lost his title was questioned about Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 82 main event between former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson during the Super Bowl 50 Media Day on Thursday.

“The Dominator” predicted that Hendricks would defeat Thompson at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday by outwrestling “Wonderboy.”
“My take on Hendricks and Thompson is: I think Hendricks goes in there and outwrestles Thompson. Hendricks goes out there and strikes with him for a short period of time and immediately looks for the takedown, if he’s smart,” surmised Cruz.
The key to success for Hendricks, according to Cruz, is dictating the distant or range of the fight.
“You don’t want to give Wonderboy too much time on his feet with range, or get in his rhythm. It’s a rough night for anybody,” he said.
