Dortmund now want Morata - and not Batshuayi

Borussia Dortmund may change their Chelsea transfer target – Alvaro Morata now tops their wanted list, and not Michy Batshuayi.

Morata has struggled for form since arriving from Real Madrid and his lack of consistency saw him axed from Spain’s World Cup squad.

But that hasn’t put off Dortmund, who are keen to end his Stamford Bridge nightmare.

According to Belgian publication HLN, on-loan Batshuayi is no longer Dortmund’s first choice for new manager Lucien Favre.

The Swiss coach wants a different type of striker – and they say he isn’t keen to make Batshuayi’s deal a full-time one.

Chelsea are keen to cut costs, and may fancy cutting their losses with their record signing.

Morata, one of Chelsea’s highest earners, was signed for £58m last over a year ago but the Blues won’t allow the striker to leave on the cheap.
