IN just four years, Event Cheshire has taken the wedding industry by storm.

Emma Leanne Smith is a hopeless romantic who believes in happily ever after and this is at the heart of everything she does.

Having been nominated in this year’s County Brides North West Wedding Awards in two categories - Artificial Florist and Venue Stylist – Event Cheshire has made the shortlisted top ten on both counts.

The North West Wedding Awards received more than 15,000 votes with 2,415 companies being nominated for the awards.

These nominations have been whittled down to 360 finalists who are all in the running to take home a title at the gala event at Mere Golf Resort on Wednesday, June 14, with this year’s theme being ‘diamonds are forever’.

Emma, who lives in Sandymoor, has spent the past four years fine tuning her skills to produce Instagram-worthy and Pintrest-worthy masterpieces for weddings and christenings, parties and festivals up and down the country.

Emma, who last year took home the New Business of the Year Award, said: “To say that we are over the moon to be a finalist again is an understatement.

“It’s a real honour to have got this far.

“Our clients are amazing and we are so grateful for all their support and especially those who have taken the time to vote for us.

“I believe I work in the best industry in the world because I get to create beautiful floral stylings for the most gorgeous clients, who are celebrating their love for each other with their families and friends.

“What a complete privilege it is to be part of their love story.

So what’s next for Event Cheshire?

It’s promising to be a busy year with 19 weddings between now and the end of July where they will create floral designs for each one and Emma is looking forward to welcoming the newest member of the team this summer – a baby boy.
