Premier League clubs are scrambling to balance their financial books with just hours of the June 30 PSR deadline remaining. Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle are among the English teams in danger of breaching financial regulations and thus could face severe punishment if funds are not raised today.

Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Everton are the other clubs in danger of losing more than the maximum £105million over a rolling three-year period. As such, some early summer departures have already been sealed with Ian Maatsen joining Villa and Omari Kellyman heading the other way.

Lewis Dobbin is another new arrival at Villa Park with Tim Iroegbunam joining Everton in a separate deal. With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at the numerous other deals in the works as clubs rush to complete transfers within the current financial year.

Chelsea

Given the mass exodus that took place last summer, the Blues' financial situation greatly improved, though sales still needed to occur. With the £35million acquired for Maatsen in mind, Chelsea look to be within the threshold which is exactly why they have been able to reach an agreement to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah have also been linked to an exit but look set to remain in west London for the time being. Omari Hutchinson though, is set to sign for Ipswich Town in a £22million deal with all the documents signed for his departure.

Aston Villa

Exits for Kellyman and Iroegbunam were not enough for Villa to continue complying with Profit and Sustainability Rules. As such, Douglas Luiz has been sacrificed with his transfer to Juventus confirmed on Sunday. Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea will join up with Unai Emery's squad as a result.

Newcastle United

Following their extraordinary approach to sell Anthony Gordon to Liverpool, Newcastle are working on two exits to significantly help their financial worries.

Yankuba Minteh is on his way to Brighton in a £33million deal while Elliot Anderson will join in Nottingham Forest for a staggering £35million with the Magpies to sign Forest goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos.

Leicester City

With Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea agreed, Leicester will be hoping the deal can be finalised today as they also hope to sell before July 1. The compensation sent to the Foxes for the departure of Enzo Maresca has helped matters but that could with an extra boost that Dewsbury-Hall would provide.

Nottingham Forest

With Moussa Niakhate to sign for Lyon in France, Nottingham Forest are prepared for a huge £26million financial boost as they welcome Anderson from Newcastle.

Everton

Jarrad Branthwaite looked set to be sacrificed for Everton to avoid any further financial punishment. However, the Toffees found some alternatives with Dobbin signing for Aston Villa and Ben Godfrey making the move to Atalanta in Italy with that deal officially confirmed on Thursday.
