DRAGONS scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou has been handed a recall to the Argentina XV to face Australia on Saturday night (kick-off 8.10pm).
The 28-year-old missed out on selection for the Rugby Championship opener, when the Wallabies fought back for victory.
Bertranou, who faced Scotland earlier in the summer, is back in the 23 as a starter for the fixture in San Juan.
The Dragons will be without Bertranou for the first two rounds of the United Rugby Championship with Rhodri Williams and Lewis Jones their options for the 9 jersey, backed up by Wales Under-20s prospect Che Hope.
The Rugby Championship runs until September 24 with the Pumas international definitely missing his club's opener at Edinburgh and the home game with Munster, plus probably the Sharks clash at Rodney Parade unless he is flung straight back into action.
