Aaron Wilbraham is Crystal Palace's third summer signing

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Aaron Wilbraham following the striker's release from Norwich.

Wilbraham, 32, Palace's third summer signing, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

Palace manager Dougie Freedman told the club's official website: "Aaron is a player who brings with him experience of playing at the top level and one I'm hugely looking forward to working with."

He added: "I'm confident he will greatly improve the side and will be valuable in helping our younger squad members improve their own game as time goes on."

Wilbraham started out at Stockport, moved to Hull for £100,000 in July 2004 and during six years at MK Dons from 2005 became the club's second highest all-time goalscorer.

He scored one goal in 15 appearances for Norwich last season and is one of four players - Grant Holt, Glyn Hodges and Dean Windass the others - to have scored in all four tiers of the Football League.
