East Dulwich stabbing: Met Police confirm man’s injuries are ‘not life-threatening’
A man who was stabbed in East Dulwich is said to not in critical condition after he was rushed to hospital on Monday.
The Met Police have confirmed that the man’s injuries are not life-threatening and that enquiries continue.
The man was knifed in or outside the Spinach restaurant on Lordship Lane at 4.15pm on Monday afternoon.
Labour MP for Dulwich & West Norwood Helen Hayes wrote: “Very concerned to hear about a stabbing on Lordship Lane this afternoon.
“My thoughts with the victim receiving treatment in hospital & all who witnessed this appalling, traumatic violence. If you have any information please contact the police or @CrimestoppersUK”
Officers were called at 4.15pm alongside the London Ambulance Service.
They said: "Police were called at approximately 16:15hrs on Monday, 19 April to reports of a stabbing in Lordship Lane, SE22.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a male – no further details – suffering a stab injury. He has been taken to hospital for treatment; condition awaits.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. No arrests."
